Wave 20 application-first intake: apply to an event without an account. Email is verified by a one-time code, and an account is created only on approval.

Single-form variant of the application-first intake: verify, then continue in one flow. Branches on the verified email (already applied / welcome back / new) and locks the email to the verified address.

Apply to an Event (Single Form)Single-form variant: verify your email, then the page continues to one application. Known emails with an existing application are told it was already received; returning accounts can prefill from their profile or start fresh. The email is locked to the verified address.
